It’s very important to me to be able to support you to move forwards and make positive changes for the charities you work for and for yourself.

After a degree in psychology, my career started when I ‘fell into’ a fundraising role with a wonderful disability charity.  I loved it and have now worked in the charity sector for 25 years.  I spent 12 years in fundraising management / director level roles at national and local charities including Cancer Research UK and the British Liver Trust.  I have successfully managed all fundraising income streams, have acted up as interim CEO and have enjoyed working as a consultant for the past ten years, supporting my clients with fundraising, strategic planning, project management and training.  I have also worked as a sole fundraiser and have supported many senior leaders by acting as a confidential sounding board. I understand the challenges and issues that you are dealing with and want to help you!

I am qualified as a coach, with a diploma in Personal Performance Coaching from the Coaching Academy and I have undertaken additional corporate coaching training, including in leadership coaching, career management coaching and dealing with change and conflict.  Being coached myself helped me to realise that I love fundraising and working with charities and that I also really love working with people and supporting individuals and teams to learn about themselves and to make positive changes.  I find the power of coaching very exciting and rewarding, particularly as it so often helps to rewire internal thought processes / ways of thinking enabling people to believe in themselves, progress and achieve. I also have a particular interest in working with small to medium sized charities.

I am accredited in DISC profiling and love using this tool with individuals or with teams, often alongside coaching, to facilitate increased self-awareness / emotional intelligence and improved communication, teamwork and fulfilment in the workplace.

I live on the edge of the New Forest and love being outdoors, walking and cycling with my family.
